Guild Policy
These are the rules which apply for all our recruits, accepted members and officers.
Guild Behavior We expect mature members and hence mature behavior. Everyone knows the proper way to talk and behave in a guild.
Chat, Ventrilo, Forum or other type of spamming will not be tolerated.
Warnings will be given out but members who do not conform to our rules and adjust their behavior accordingly, will be forced out of the guild.
Outside Guild Behavior No member is allowed to behave improperly (beg for resources, help, etc), spam on general chat, shout, etc. in any place or condition. This will harm the image of our guild and will not be allowed. Instant removal of the member out of the guild will be performed on sight. No warnings here.
Raiding Rules
Raiding current guild content with other guilds is forbidden. This includes Alts,Mains and Recruits. You have joined Transcendence to help us and not another guild to progress. If you are in doubt contact an officer.
You are required to play your MAIN unless you are asked by the raid leader to play an alt.
In ventrilo please only speak when it is absolutely needed during raids. When in doubt use tells.
Inactivity
We want active players. We also understand that some of you may have jobs, studies, families or other interest as well and cannot be online all the time.
Rules are rules though and must apply for everyone. Unless something extreme happens or the member has notified the guild of his inactivity, members who do not login at least once every 14 days, will be forced out of the active guild as inactive players. On the 15th day you will be removed from the active roster and your status on the forums will be moved to privileged guest. If you are a trial member and you have been inactive for 7 days or longer you will be removed from the guild and moved to guest status on the forums. As a trial when you return your trial will restart from day 1. For all players that join once you have been inactive for greater than 30 days your DKP resets to zero.
Logging in simply to 'refresh' last logged in time and seem active, will not do and you will still be forced out of the guild.
Commands and Orders Members are expected to obey officer directions. If a member does not agree with a command given, he/she must perform it first and then report it to the leader in case of a misuse of powers.
Resource Contribution All members can voluntarily contribute resources/gold. Recruits are not required to contribute and it holds no bearing on your acceptance as a member.
Assistance Demanding resources from the guild or power leveling is forbidden. Asking for some help is acceptable but harassment for help is not. Repetitive seek on help (spam seek) of any kind will not be tolerated. If a member is willing to help, he/she will respond, no need to persist.
Questions / Help Before you ask for help or need an answer on a topic, make sure that you have searched the internet for the solution. Time is crucial for everyone and if there is something which you can find for yourself, please, do not bother an officer.
All questions from Members shall be addressed to an Officer of the same class as theirs. If no same class Officer is available and the Leader is online, he can be asked to help.
This is for proper workload division. No person can help / answer on questions put from tens of people or more, at the same time...
Ventrilo All members are obliged to have installed and operating our voice communication software. Having a microphone or using it is not mandatory but listening for commands is. Join even if you will only listen. Looting Ninja looting or in general looting items which you will not use, while other members would use and need, will not be tolerated even by mistake. If such action has been noticed, all involving party members will either state that they have no problem with that action or it will mean problems for the looter. Reporting If any member or officer would like to report "a situation" which is affecting the guild negatively in any way, it would be wise to be true and provide proof of case. Screen shots or FRAPS video will do. Any false reporting will act as a boomerang to the reporter member.
Leveling and Performance Every member is expected to level up and gear up on a normal time span. We will not demand all day leveling but we cannot allow a member to stay on the same level for too long. Gear must also be improved with each level as it normaly would. Every player must be geared properly for his/her level. False information We may perform random or thorough interviews with our new members. If one is found with false application information he/she will be rejected.
Also accepted members may be randomly interviewed or "investigated" for false application information which can result in a forced removal from the guild.
Guild Kicks and Leaves Not everything can be listed here as a rule. Common sense will be applied on every situation that arises in the guild. On some cases warnings will be issued but on clear violations or improper behaviors the involved member will be forced out of the guild.
No complaints will be accepted or shall be issued on a member removal. If such action has been taken, there must be a serious reason for this decision and it should be respected by everyone.
A member who leaves the guild will be blacklisted and cannot rejoin in the future for any reason whatsoever, so consider your decision carefully.
